About this project
by Deepali Khairnar
Kampy is designed for college life as it is actually lived: fragmented, noisy, and full of missed connections. Students often hear about clubs too late, lose track of campus events, or never meet peers working on the same interests, startups, hackathons, cultural activities, or placement preparation.
Kampy brings that campus layer together into one product. Students can discover communities, join interest-based circles, follow campus activity, find collaborators for projects, and stay aware of what is happening across the institution. The goal is not just social networking. It is structured campus discovery, stronger peer engagement, and a more active student network that improves participation, visibility, and belonging.
This campaign supports product development, student onboarding pilots, campus ambassador operations, and the first rollout inside real college environments.

Milestone
The first usable version of club and interest-circle discovery is complete. Students can now browse communities, filter by intent, and understand what is active on campus instead of relying on scattered group links.

General update
We have narrowed down the first college pilot list and started outreach with campus representatives. The focus is on institutions where clubs, event participation, and peer-led discovery are already active so the product can plug into real student behaviour quickly.
Fund utilization updates are visible only to paid backers of this campaign.
